Nakusp
A little more to the South there was another town, Nakusp. It's a small provincial town with a slow pace of life. What impressed me, was the quality of the road between the town and the hot springs. It was a very well maintained highway in the forest. I've seen worse roads in Vancouver.
I asked myself a question: "Why does the Nakusp municipality invest in the road that goes to the private hot springs?" The answer was simple. One of the revenue sources for the town was tourism. It's worth investing in roads.

Very good hot springs, grade "A". Well, just a little boring: quiet music, kids did not run like crazy, elderly public enjoys the sun...
