St Leon Hot Springs
Except for a couple of dozen of "civilized" hot springs, the hot springs of British Columbia are all like these ones:
Some enthusiasts have cemented the pool to make it stronger, have pulled the pipes over, and maintained the hot springs in a good shape. Places like this one were commonly visited by nudists, which we have met when came to the pool. I did not take a picture of them. As you may imagine, nude people in their forties with "shaped" bellies would be not the most aesthetic show.
St. Leon springs are located twenty kilometers away from Halcyon. In order to get there one has to drive towards Nakusp, then turn left to the mountains, drive for seven more kilometers, stop, and walk down a steep hill. Finding the springs without an exact map would not be easy. There are several of those in the area, eventually they all will be commercialized. What can you do?
