Then we crossed Manning Park, huge, many kilometers long, park. This year
we have camped there a couple of times. Some of our friends go skiing there in winter.
We made a short stop in Sumallo Grove. Sumallo was the name of the river. Interesting enough, I noticed with some amuzement that I was getting used to Indian names. They didn't look unnatural anymore.
There was a lonely biker sitting on the river bank. The tent was tighten to
the back of the bike. Peace and silence, just some marijuana smell.
There were three hundred years old cedars standing in the grove. One winter a few years ago somebody cut and stole four of them. It was a cold winter, I guess. By the way, the cost of each of those trees was $10,000.
